Stage 1 – A1  Beginners

This is the first stage of the Direct Methodology and is intended for absolute beginners or students who have almost never had the opportunity to speak the language and feel insecure to say anything in Bulgarian. The course content is divided into 8 modules. These 8 modules include: ● to introduce yourself ●to ask “how are you?” ● to ask for and give a phone number ● different professions ● to ask where you are from ● the names of some cities and countries ● items in the room ●to talk about where things or people are ● the alphabet ● the names of people and objects ● the days of the week, months and seasons of the year ● numbers and ordinal numbers ● body parts ●to say what you have or don’t have ● the names of colors ● the names of some animals ●to talk about what you are doing now ● basic actions ● names of clothes ● names of countries and continents ● directions of the world – west, east, north or south ● food ● what you like or prefer ● routine actions ● what you can or cannot do. ● difference between current actions and routine actions ● basic actions ● your address ● in the apartment and the house ● transport ● family ● letters, emails and SMS messages ● what you have ● a lot / little ● time ● the names of some actions ● how to express desires and preferences. Courses A1 last 2 months or 8 weeks and are held twice a week.
